My name is J. Matthew Lynch, I go by Matt. I am a senior in high school, Unsure of what I want to do after. If I go to college I want to go into new media. I enjoy filmmaking the most, followed next by digital graphics. lastly followed by photography. Cam and Nico are without a doubt two of my good friends in life, and the members of MCN. I am the creator and designer of this website, I hope you all enjoy!
 

Cam is a student at the university of Maine and his current major is new media. I will have to give him credit for starting up our photography section of the website, he is a talented photographer, with little guidance in the techniques and styles of photography.

Nico is a senior in high school, we will be graduating together in the spring of 2011, Nico plans on attending a four year college. He is undecided in his major. He is looking at a school that will have a swimming program. For as long as I have known Nico he has been is a terrific swimmer. Nico enjoys filmmaking. We collaborate and make new ideas and projects all the time.

If I remember correctly MCN MOTIONOGRAPHY came to be when all three of us decided to make a stop-motion. Nico and Cam brought up the idea; we started off making little stop-motions. We really got into making stop-motion when we made our most famous video “Go Kart Stop Motion” with 48,000 views on youtube(lynch2schultz). Since then we’ve been making more and more videos.

I created this website so that people can share their art work, get feedback and new ideas on how to become a better artist. To me the idea of life is art, is exactly that. Without art life becomes repetitive and unresponsive. What art means to me is ones ability to imagine and express them self. It is my belief that art is where an artist takes a vision and the skills he has to create something amazing and completely their own whether that is on the computer, with a camera, pencil, paintbrush or sounds.
